About the role:

Our Reseller Manager will take brand new partners through the Takepayments Partnership Graduation programme ensuring they go on to become successful long-term partners and meet and exceed mutual business objectives. Following recruitment of new partners, the Re-Seller Enablement Manager and their team will own the partner through a period of Graduation, building sales volume whilst maintaining high standards against quality and performance KPIs.

This role will involve both high-quality people and stakeholder management and take responsibility for a team which continues to grow, numbering around 10 FTE by the end of 2023. The team will be responsible for the successful on-boarding & activation of customers, generated from partner sales with a relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations and maintaining class-leading NPS scores.

Requirements for our Reseller Manager:

Takepayments is based around a high-performance culture. The right candidate will need to have a proven track record of high performance in their previous role which can be evidenced. In addition, experience in managing stakeholders/partners both internally and externally is vital.

Effective presentation and communication skills will be necessary along with the ability to have honest and, sometimes challenging, conversations.

A strong operational acumen is required along with experience in managing a medium-sized team as this role will require oversight of a customer account-management and activation journey once the partner begins to refer business into TakePayments.

Finally, an individual with a customer-orientated mindset is a must.

Responsibilities of our Reseller Manager:

  • The operational management and graduation of new Re-Seller Partners to Takepayments, enabling them to be successful in reaching agreed business objectives and forming strong relationships.
  • Responsibility for all new customers referred to Takepayments from our Re-Seller Partners for Months 1 – 4 of their journey with us, managed through a team of Account Managers.
  • Ensuring operational readiness for all new Re-Seller Partners, equipping them with the information, skills, systems and training required to set them up for success.
  • Delivery of a set of KPIs related to the Activation, Graduation, Retention of Re-Seller referred customers whilst maintaining exceptional levels of customer service, evidenced through NPS (Not Promotor Scores).
  • Effective recruitment and management of a team of Re-Seller Account managers, working to a High-Performance culture and working in a motivational and inspiring environment.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships both internally with our Partnership team and externally with our Re-Seller partners, ensuring the sharing of regular performance results, managing communication channels and dealing with complaints/escalations.
