Given the successful launch of the product less than 1 year ago, already with over 1,500 website customers, takepayments are seeking a dynamic leader to build this new venture into a material component of the takepayments product suite.

The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative, people leader and motivator driven by success of their product.

The eCommerce Manager will be responsible for:

  • The growth of this product through successful conversion of sales applications to happy customers with active trading websites

The eCommerce Manager will:

  • Collaborate with Customer & Sales Teams – develop a prioritised features and functionality list
  • Drive the evolution of the product to a best-in-class solution with the Development Team
  • Support the Sales function
  • assisting in the coaching of the product capabilities
  • providing feedback on sales successes and opportunities to improve
  • Lead the Operational Web Teams to deliver against their targets always seeking to improve whilst directly leading
  • Web A/c Managers who will own each customer within their portfolio receiving them from Sales, introducing them to the process and liaising with the design team to expedite website delivery
  • Designers, Builders and Copy Writers to deliver awesome websites each and every time

· Generate with the support of Business MI functions daily, weekly and monthly analysis of new lives, team deliverables, website performance and website upgrade programme

The eCommerce Manager will have:

· Experience working in the eCommerce sector or a business where website development/creation was part of their remit

· Exceptional organisation skills

· Experience working in fast paced environments

· Understanding of local and global trends

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Strong leadership skills

· Demonstrable people leadership and management capabilities

· An understanding of SEO, PPC and general ecommerce marketing

Most importantly the prospective eCommerce Manager must understand people and business.
