Job Overview

About the Role:

Our Retention Advisors prevent our customers from leaving us.  This is a sales role.

As a Retention’s advisor, you will be speaking to existing customers who have expressed an interest leaving or would like to negotiate a new contract.

You will have in depth conversations about the services that customers have and their needs in the future. Problem solving is a key part of the role, as you will help to fix any potential issues whilst negotiating to find a positive outcome for both the Customer and Takepayments.

You will become an expert in Card Payment Solutions, offering the best advice and products to keep customers on board.

Shifts are Monday & Tuesday 8.30-17.30, Weds & Thursday 8.30 – 17.00, Friday 8.30 – 16.00

Responsibilities of our Retention Advisors

  • Making or receiving calls to existing customers.
  • Deliver a fantastic customer experience by understanding customer issues and proactively identifying solutions.
  • Renew customer contracts ensuring everything is processed accurately in line with process.
  • Achieve all KPI’s in line with the role requirements.
  • Support our customers growth through the promotion of additional product offers.

Requirements for our Retention Advisor

  • Negotiation skills are essential, you will be retaining customers by selling our products and services, not by cutting prices/price matching
  • 1+ year consistent Sales Experience in a call centre environment
  • Proven success in working to targets
  • Ability to build instant customer rapport, problem solve and resolve issues.
