Our growing technology team needs an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to help our delivery teams work in a consistent and predictable way so that change becomes frictionless and delivers value to our customers and our business.

Being a small but rapidly growing company, we need someone who not only gets and helps shape the big picture, but they also need to be willing to roll their sleeves up to drive delivery of valuable change as part of our in-house development teams.

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 dependant on experience 

Location: Remote but must be willing to travel to our Stockport Head Office once a month

Primary Responsibilities and Skills for our Agile Delivery Manager

  • Ability to work closely with delivery teams to make sure they have everything in place they need to deliver effectively.
  • Ability to work closely with multiple squads at different levels of Agile maturity.
  • Understand how to use SCRUM and/or Kanban to manage in-house development effort.
  • Ability to produce high level understanding of overall delivery effectiveness across a department to optimise the end-to-end process.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience so that we can understand the best way to optimise lead and cycle time.
  • Good communication skills with in-house developers, stakeholders, and senior management. 

Experience Required for our Agile Delivery Manager

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, delivering meaningful change within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of helping teams understand and manage dependencies across increasingly connected technology services.
  • Experience in retrospectively looking backwards to recommend process improvements to optimise delivery.
  • Experience in coaching non-development business teams in their use of agile methods to align overall delivery methods across the whole company would be a bonus.
